If it was easy, everyone would do it

Of course it's hard. It's supposed to be hard. If it was easy, everyone would do it.

The quote we hear all too often.

If it was easy, everyone would do it.

How much is easy and how much is hard?

In life, we all have our own hard and our own easy. No one gets to determine that for us. It's all on how we react and respond.

But what usually happens when it's hard?

We look for the easy way out.

We look to quit and give up, throw in the towel.

It could be health and wellness goals, it could be running a business, it could be having different conversations, and so on.

But is it really that easy to quit and give up?

To be completely transparent, I just got back from an amazing vacation but still felt off.

I have been having recurring thoughts of feeling unfulfilled.

Unfulfilled in my career, unfulfilled in business.

The easy thing to do?

Quit.

GIve it up.

Throw in the towel.

Because running a business is hard, running a health and wellness business is even harder.

Until I was reminded what my why is: to help people.

As I was tasked to read all the letters, notes, reviews, texts, comments from clients, friends, pages, and challenges, I was again reminded of my why: to help people.

As I went through all of my notes, ideas, donations, community events, and all that I have accomplished, I was again reminded of my why: to help people.

How am I supposed to just quit, give up, and throw in the towel on that?

I'm not supposed to, not yet.

When things get hard, you fill your cup.

When things get hard, you focus on what you enjoy.

When things get hard, you rest before you ever quit.

When things get hard, you continue to show up for yourself.

So what happens from here?

We take it one day at a time. Doing what feels right. No drastic decisions.
